Modigliani Fountain Competition

On September 24th, 2014 during the 49th Edition of Marmomacc, the newborn Documentation Centre Amedeo Modigliani located in Colle di Val d'Elsa had a further recognition during the awards ceremony of the Modigliani Fountain Competition, a competition organized and sponsored by MGI - Marble and Granite Sicilmarmi Italy.
In turn, the Documentation Centre has given its endorsement to the initiative promoted by the Comitato Spontaneo di Livorno for the construction of a monument of the great artist to be located in the city of Livorno. Initiative accepted and managed by MGI – Marmi and Graniti d'Italia Sicilmarmi. .
In Verona, in the space for the conference was presented and awarded the project for an interactive fountain, an essential complement to the monument itself, designed by the american architect Earl Jackson IV; selected from a wider range of competitors.
The speakers were Nicola Ventre for MGI, Earl Jackson IV and Gregorio Rossi has art historian, in the presence of Carlo Rettori President of the Documentation Centre Modigliani
