On the day of September 30th 2014, the Documentation Centre Amedeo Modigliani has been recognized by the Cultural Exhibition Institution called "La Soffitta" in Sesto Fiorentino (Florence).
This is the second award just a few days after the birth of the Centre. In fact, on September 24th in Verona, during the awards ceremony of the New York Architect Earl G. Jackson IV, winner of the design of a memorial fountain of Modigliani in Livorno, the organizers had invited the founders of the Documentation Centre to give their endorsement.
La Soffitta is celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of its founding and has cured exhibitions of artists such as Renzo Vespignani, Sirio Midollini, Renato Guttuso, Sigfrido Bartolini, Piero Nincheri, Guido Spadolini, Hermann Hesse, Giancarlo Marini, Francis Bacon, from Guercino and Bastià.
As a result, this is a recognition that comes from a prestigious Institution.
